Spotlessly clean rooms with essential amenities. Great value for a base to explore the local area.
Rooms can be chilly due to a lack of heating. The thin walls make noise from the pub downstairs an issue, with disturbances lasting until the early hours. Some rooms may appear dated, with broken or basic furniture, and amenities like shower mats could improve overall comfort.

The location is quiet and ideal for planning your
Explorations around the Lake District. The room was clean and well-heated. The pub amenities were limited, and it felt rather basic overall. A local bakery nearby offered a good breakfast option.

The room had minor layout issues, such as the TV placement needing adjustment to access the cupboard.

The room was clean, with a kettle and plenty of tea, coffee, and biscuits. Loved the double aspect windows, though one was painted shut. The TV was a bit awkwardly placed near the cupboard, but it was nice to have. It wasn't anything fancy but served its purpose for a budget stay. The staff were super friendly, and the location was great for checking out local attractions.
